Neptune's Fury Coffee Co. has been serving the Hampton Roads area as a coffee roaster since 2020. In September of 2022 we opened our waterfront cafe & roastery on the first floor of Dominion Tower - A Class A office building in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Our business is growing and we are looking for right-fit individuals to join our amazing team!

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Manager & Menu Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for elevating our current menu offerings, overseeing kitchen operations, managing inventory, and training staff to execute culinary creations with precision and flair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a small but diverse menu of breakfast, lunch, and snack items that fit with our fast casual concept.
• Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation & cooking.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate orders to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a culinary role, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety protocols.
• Demonstrated creativity and proficiency in menu development
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and events as needed.
